Cough MedAlas, to no avail.

(Update – I would take the following day off work on sick leave, spend the day after that working from the house, and pretty much suffer from this common cold for the rest of this week.)

To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day
Hardly spoke to folks around him didn’t have too much to say

To a town called “Cold Water”? Nice tune to have running through the background when I’m running the steam cleaner around the carpets (as coincidence would have it, at 11:20 in the morning).

This was one of the songs I grew up on, playing the groove on our LP down to the rockhard bottom back through the early 60s. “Hardly spoke to folks around didn’t have too much to say” pretty much summed up who I was through those years. Still plays well enough through the modern equipment.

No, of course this is not a stereograph (although that does remind me – it’s been a while).

Sounds a lot more windy out there this morning. Maybe we’re getting the gusts to 23mph mentioned elsewhere at the weather sites. Also, chilly enough for the pool to be coming on automatically to prevent pipe freeze.
